About Me And My Blog

Welcome to StrangeBlog (as I call it). Here I like to post interesting pieces about the paranormal, odd quirky tales from history, plus the occasional short story and cake recipe. I’m also starting to do book and film reviews, which I enjoy very much.

I’m based in Oxfordshire, and married to Mike, who is a scientist involved with space weather research. I love jazz music, which has been a great inspiration to me for many years now.

As regards the paranormal, I am not here to tell people how to think, or to come up with answers, merely to post stories that I hope the reader will find interesting and thought-provoking. I wanted to clear that up, as some people seem to think I’m here to solve the mysteries of the Universe, or either that accuse me of foisting “dogma” on them!

You can find my books on Amazon, links to each book should be at the side of the blog, just click on the illustration. Normally, you can also follow me on Twitter, @ sjhstrangetales, but as of today (16 November 2016) I’ve temporarily suspended my account.  Whether this turns into a permanent state of affairs I really do not know at this stage.  In the meantime if you wish to contact me then you can do so either via here (WordPress) or email me on sarah.hapgood@btinternet.com.

Thank you for looking in, it means a lot to me. I hope you find something here to interest you.

Kind regards, Sarah

I just stumbled upon your blog through web serendipity🙂
i’m enjoying it , i like your open , no-push stance.
thank you

Thank you, I’ve enjoyed doing it

Hey there! I found a fascinating article you wrote about Loch Ness, talking in particular about a time slip case I’d not heard of. Your article proved vital as research for one I’ve just written suggesting (albeit light-heartedly) that Nessie might be a time traveller! I wondered if you wanted to feature my article on your blog?

I’ve mentioned you by name in the text, put you down as a source at the end and included a link to your article🙂

My email is cr_berry@outlook.com if you want to send me a quick email!

Kind regards,
C.R. Berry

P.S. Love your site!

Thanks for your comments, have put the link to your article at the bottom of the Loch Ness piece, a fascinating place.
